I know performers on stage wear makeup but aside from Rocky Horror fans I rarely see the audience made up.

I'll never forgot the time in Atlanta hitting on the gal dressed up as Columbia (circa '82) and getting a real welcome reception until my buddy leaned over and warned me to check out "her" Adam's apple - rocky horror, indeed!

...but how hot is Susan Sarandon in that film?

little did I know growing-up in the sticks of PA that I would become such an expert at adam's apple detection...

So in looking at the set of venues, I am surprised they didn't go with the Oakland Coliseum instead of shoreline...must be thinking the warriors are play-off bound or something...

It would be interesting to know if they looked and tried for other venues in the area.

what's the difference in capacity b/w those venues? (that's one I should know having gone to many shows at both).

shoreline: 22,000, with 6,500 reserved seats and 15,500 unreserved lawn seating.

oracle arena: just under 20,000 for b-ball

so it is close...

so I wonder if they tried pacbell...I mean, at&t park...that is over 40,000

When the band plays the Bay Area in Spring it's outdoors. Fall and Winter they go inside....usually.

BTW, I'll take Oakland over Shoreline any day. My ass and ankles are still on that hill somewhere.:(

I'm not going.
